A training session on "Artificial Intelligence" was held for faculty members at Hitit University's Faculty of Health Sciences on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the faculty conference hall. The training was delivered by Ömer Faruk AKMEŞE, Ph.D., of Hitit University's Faculty of Engineering.
The training covered the basic concepts of artificial intelligence, its application areas, and its contributions to academic studies. Information was also provided on important points to consider when using artificial intelligence in scientific research. The principles and rules in the Ethical Guide for the Productive Use of Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Research and Publication Activities of Higher Education Institutions were also discussed.
During the training, the use of artificial intelligence technologies, the characteristics of different artificial intelligence tools, and examples of academic applications were also discussed. The training was crucial for faculty members to contribute to the ethical, effective, and efficient use of artificial intelligence technologies during the digital transformation process.
